This concept was presented to the committee for SIGGRAPH 2008,
an international conference on computer technology and interactive techniques.
In keeping with the theme of the conference,
overlapping amorphous shapes suggest the fluid and non-linear nature of technology, and the organic nature of communities and knowledge.
The design process included listening to the many voices of the client, distilling strategy and ideas with a team of writers and designers, and exploring unexpected ways of expressing a concept that is as broad and diverse as computer technology.
